Brannick

Terms of service

Last updated 19 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Brannick, a missed-call text-back and booking service for local businesses. Brannick is a product of Proudwright. By starting a trial or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

What the service does

You forward your unanswered calls to a phone number we provide. When a call reaches that number without being answered, Brannick sends a text message to the caller from your Brannick number, holds a short conversation about what they need, offers times drawn from your connected calendar, and writes the booking into that calendar. It then tells you what happened.

Brannick is an assistant, not an employee. It will sometimes misread a caller, offer a time you would rather not have offered, or fail to book a job you would have won. You remain responsible for your own customers and your own schedule.

Messages sent on your behalf

Every text Brannick sends is sent as your business, to someone who has just called your business. In the language carriers use, you are the sender: the messages are your traffic, from your number, about your services.

That carries obligations you keep. You agree that you will not use Brannick to send marketing or promotional messages, to text people who have not called you, or to import a list of numbers from anywhere else. You agree to honour opt-outs — the service handles STOP automatically, and you must not text a caller who has opted out by any other route. You agree to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and any other law that applies to where you and your callers are.

We may need to register your business with the mobile carriers before your number can send messages, and we may need information from you to do it. We cannot promise a carrier will approve any particular business, and we do not control how long they take.

What you must not do

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, and we will tell you why.

Things outside our control

Brannick depends on mobile carriers, telephone networks, calendar providers and cloud hosting. Calls and messages can be delayed, mis-routed or dropped by any of them, and none of it is ours to fix. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not offer a service-level guarantee.

We also do not promise any particular commercial result. Nothing on our site or in these terms is a guarantee that you will recover a given number of jobs or earn a given amount of money.

Your data

What we collect and what we do with it is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Your business information and your callers' conversations remain yours. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your data to train machine-learning models. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for lost profits, lost business, lost bookings or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Brannick at any time by cancelling. We may end or suspend an account on 30 days' notice, or immediately if it breaches these terms or puts our carrier registrations at risk. When an account ends we stop the service, release the Brannick number, and keep or delete data as the privacy policy describes. Remember to remove the call forwarding from your own phone.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, where the service is operated from, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in this clause removes a consumer protection you have under the law of your own country.
