Brannick

Point your business line at Brannick

One setting on your phone, done once, about a minute. It tells your network that when nobody picks up, the call should go to Brannick instead of your voicemail — and that is the moment Brannick texts the caller back.

Keep advertising the number you already use. Nothing about it changes. Your phone rings exactly as it does today; this only decides what happens when it isn't answered.

Your Brannick number is in the email we send when your account is set up. The codes below are the same either way — put your number where the example number sits.

Use the code for your carrier below, not a “forward all calls” code. Forwarding everything sends calls straight to Brannick without ringing you at all, which is not what you want.

Find your carrier

AT&T

Dial **61*YOURNUMBER# and press call. You'll see a short confirmation.

To check it later: *#61#. To turn it off: ##61#.

Verizon

Dial *71YOURNUMBER and press call. Verizon calls this “No Answer/Busy Transfer” — your phone rings three or four times first, so you can still pick up.

To turn it off: *73.

T-Mobile

Dial **61*YOURNUMBER# and press call.

T-Mobile also lets you choose how long your phone rings first. For 30 seconds, use **61*YOURNUMBER*11*30# instead.

To check it later: *#61#. To turn it off: ##61#.

Cricket, Mint, Boost, Metro and most others

These run on the AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon networks, so the same codes work. Try **61*YOURNUMBER# first. If your phone rejects it, use the Verizon code *71YOURNUMBER instead.

Google Fi

Fi doesn't use dial codes. Open the Google Fi app, go to Account, then Manage plan, then Call forwarding, and add your Brannick number there.

A desk phone or office system

Business phone systems call this “forward on no answer” or “call coverage”, and it's set in the admin panel rather than by dialling. Point it at your Brannick number after 4 or 5 rings. If you're not sure where it lives, email us and we'll look it up for your system.

Then test it, before you rely on it

Borrow a second phone, ring your business number, and let it ring out without answering. Within a few seconds that second phone should receive a text from Brannick offering appointment times. If it does, you're live.

If nothing arrives after a minute, email hello@brannick.ai and tell us which carrier you're on. Don't keep re-entering codes — it's quicker for us to check from our side whether the call reached us at all.
